Your car, your loan.
Borrow up to 70% of your car’s forced-sale value for 1–6 months. Apply online, bring the car to a DriveQ station for inspection, and get the cash in days. We keep the car safe until you repay — then you drive it home.
Inspection fee ₦10,000 is paid separately before you book the inspection. Final figures depend on our valuation at the station.
Six steps from your driveway to your bank account — and back.
Every step is tracked in your DriveQ account, with an email and SMS each time something moves.
-
STEP 01
Apply online
Tell us about the car and how much you need, upload your ID, proof of ownership and bank statement, and accept the terms. About 10 minutes — KYC you have already done is reused.
-
STEP 02
Book your inspection
Once KYC is cleared, pay the ₦10,000 inspection fee and pick a DriveQ station, day and time that suit you — right from your dashboard.
-
STEP 03
Get your offer
Drive the car to the station. Our inspector checks the VIN, mileage and condition; we value it and send a firm offer you accept or decline in the app.
-
STEP 04
Sign & hand over at the station
Sign your loan contract and hand over the car, both keys and the original papers at a DriveQ station. Every check-in is logged with photos and an odometer reading.
-
STEP 05
Cash paid out
The net loan amount is transferred to the bank account in your name, usually the same or next business day after hand-over.
-
STEP 06
Repay & collect
Pay interest monthly and the principal at the end — or settle early with no fee. Once you are paid up, collect your car from the station.
Inspection, signing and hand-over happen in person.
You choose the station and time when you book your inspection. Your car stays in secure, insured custody — CCTV, logged check-in and a key tag — until you collect it.

Before you apply.
Who can apply?
Any Nigerian resident aged 18+ who owns a 2010 or newer vehicle outright, with a valid NIN and BVN. DriveQ dealers can also borrow against stock they hold.
How do I book the inspection?
After our compliance team clears your KYC and the inspection fee is confirmed, your application page shows the DriveQ stations with open dates and times. Pick one and confirm — you can move it online up to 24 hours before.
Where is my car kept?
At a DriveQ station: a secure, insured custody yard with CCTV and a logged check-in (odometer, condition photos, key tag). You get a gate pass when you collect it.
How fast is the money?
Typically 2–5 working days from application: KYC review, inspection, valuation, offer, signing and hand-over. Funds go to the bank account in your name.
What if I repay early?
You pay the principal plus interest accrued to that day. There is no early-settlement fee.
What happens if I miss a payment?
A daily late fee applies and release is paused until you are current. After 60+ days overdue and formal notice, the vehicle may be sold to recover the balance; any surplus is refunded to you.
Can I sell my car through DriveQ instead?
DriveQ auctions are currently for verified dealers buying vehicles. If you would rather sell than borrow, contact us and our team will talk you through your options.
Is my data safe?
Your NIN, BVN, bank details and every document are encrypted at rest. Only the compliance team can view them, and every view is logged.
